Call for papers Geotechnics 2013 in Hanoi
In October2011, our first international geotechnical conference Geotec Hanoi 2011 was organized in Hanoi. The conferencewas so successful, with about 450 attendees from 24 countries, and with six keynote-lectures given by Prof. Sven Hansbo from Sweden, Prof. Kenji Ishihara from Japan, Prof. Harry G. Poulos from Australia, Prof. Pieter A. Vermeerfrom the Netherlands, Prof. Alain Guilloux from France, and Dr. Hiroshi Yoshida from Japan. The conference proceeding with 110 papers, was edited and hard-bound printed with a high international quality, please see the attachment.
Continuing the success of the conference Geotec Hanoi 2011, we will organize the second conference GEOTEC HANOI 2013, which is planned to be held on 28th and 29th November 2013 in Hanoi, Vietnam, please see the other attachment. There will be five technical sessions in this conference:
1. FOUNDATION FOR HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS
2. UNDERGROUND PROJECTS IN SOFT SOIL
3. SOIL IMPROVEMENT AND REINFORCEMENT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE
4. MONITORING AND INSTRUMENTATION FOR TUNNELS AND EXCAVATIONS
5. GEOTECHNICAL MODELING AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS
Similarly to the first conference, we will invite six world leading professors/experts to give honorable and key-note lectures for the above themes:

During the last three months we have got an overwhelming response to our conference. Due to the request from many prospective participants, we would like to extend the deadline for abstract submission to 15 April 2013.
