Prof. Carlos Delgado,the president of IAEG visited Kunming and Shanghai in China during September 16-25, 2012. Mrs. Catarina O’neill- Prof. Carlos’s wife, Mr. Jacinto Rey Valentin- chairman of IAEG support member, Spain SANJOSE. Mrs. Maria Nieves- Mr. Jacinto Rey Valentin’s wife, Prof. Wu Faquan –the secretary general of IAEG and Liang Ning-the secretariat staff also carried out the visit with the president.
In Kunming, Prof. Carlos and his delegation met with the delegates of Association for promotion of West China Research and Development(APWCRD). Li Zuyuan – vice chairman &secretary general of APWCRD hosted a forum to welcome professor Carlos and other visitors.
He Zhanjun-the vice chairman of APWCRD gave a warm welcome to professor Carlos and introduced the status, potentials and advantages of economic development in Yunnan province. Prof.Carlos introduced the principle and the basic situation of IAEG. At the same time, he wanted to promote the cooperation between IAEG and enterprises, and he was willing to help build the relationship between the enterprise and other enterprises, the enterprise and the government. As one of IAEG support members, Mr. Jacinto introduced the business and performances of SANJOSE group. And he expressed the wish to serve for China and economic construction of Yunnan. The entrepreneur representatives introduced their enterprise business fields and main performance respectively. Among them, Li Mingkun had a deep exchange with Mr. Jacinto in accordance with specific project cooperation. In the warm and friendly atmosphere, both sides had a extensive exchanges about concerned problems.
After the meeting, Prof. Carlos and other people visited some enterprises and construction projects.
In Shanghai, Carlos attended the International Conference on Coastal Zone Engineering Geology held by Tongji University and China National Group of IAEG, During the conference, he met with some business leaders.
The forum between Prof. Carlos and some enterprises was organized by the Prof. Shi Zhenming from Tongji University. The vice chairman of the International Tunnelling Association, Bai Yun-the former chief engineer of Shanghai urban construction group, the professor of Tongji University, Li Jiantong-the vice general manager of Hongrun construction group co., LTD, Ma Chaoguang-the vice general manager of Shanghai urban construction (international) co., LTD, Li Fuqing -the chief engineer of Zhongda construction group co., LTD attended the forum.
Professor Carlos introduced the basic situation of IAEG to the entrepreneurs, and express the appreciation on their concern and support to IAEG. Attendees introduced their enterprise service field and main performance, and discussed the further cooperation.
